Parkworth Wealth Management’s Chris Missirlian Promoted, Attains CFP® Certification

SAN JOSE—August 13, 2018—Parkworth Wealth Management announced today that Chris Missirlian has been promoted to wealth advisor and has attained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.

Missirlian started with the advisory firm as an associate wealth advisor in 2015 after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.A. in economics.

In his new role, Missirlian works with clients to understand their financial goals and recommends comprehensive financial and investment strategies to help them achieve those goals. He provides ongoing monitoring of clients’ financial plans and investment portfolios, adjusting them as needed to remain in sync with clients’ lives.

“I could not be more thrilled in announcing this promotion,” said Parkworth Wealth Management’s founder, Bruce Barton. “From Day 1, Chris has been integral to our team. He is absolutely dedicated to helping our clients achieve what they want in life, whether it is starting a new family or retiring early.”

Since Parkworth Wealth Management has a fiduciary obligation to clients, Missirlian’s advice is always made with clients’ best interests in mind.

The fiduciary commitment is also underscored in the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, a certification whose rigorous requirements include ongoing education, work experience, and a commitment to ethics. Missirlian said the three years it took to attain the certification was time well spent.

“Shortly after starting in financial planning, I knew I wanted to be a CFP® professional,” he said. “To me, the CFP® designation indicates someone who has the expertise and objectivity to provide comprehensive financial planning that puts clients’ needs and goals first.”
